We have been informed of a severe risk of flooding in the 12th Ave and Stoneridge Meadows Area of Stonewall. We understand this is causing a lot of panic and uncertainty for a lot of our clients and we want to get this information out to as many clients as possible as quickly as possible.

If you or your neighbours are clients of Co-operators, please call 1-877-682-5246 AS SOON AS there is an immediate threat of water infiltration to your home, or if there is an evacuation order put in place for your area. DO NOT WAIT.

The absolute fastest way to get help right now is to call the after hours claims line. We will do what we can for our clients on the local level, but there is only so much we can do and only so many resources for us to use.

If you are NOT a client of Co-operators, prepare yourself NOW by finding the after hours claims reporting line for your insurance company, and the same advice applies. Do not wait until tomorrow to call.

Our heart goes out to out to all of the families who are being affected by this situation and we are here to support you however we can.

We are unable to open our offices today. We will be monitoring voicemails as best we can but your calls will be sent through our prompt system and your quickest way to report a loss by phone will be to follow those prompts directly to our claims reporting centre.



Please do not call us on our cell phones. We cannot handle the volume of more than the phone lines we’re already managing and the staff do not all have access to your information, nor are their cell phones equipped or authorized for these calls.



We appreciate your patience and want to ensure you get the quickest possible response to your specific situation.

We are, like our clients and neighbours and communities, starting today in some disbelief about last night’s events and the widespread damage the storm has caused. We are unsure at this time the full extent of damage to our office but we are gearing up to have back-up plans in place to ensure we have multiple solutions for our clients to report their losses.



Do not wait. If you have suffered damage to your Home, Farm or Business property you can call our office @ 204-467-8927 and if our phone lines are overwhelmed or it’s outside of regular hours you will be directed to our after hours claims team or claims call centre. You can also do one of the following:



For Home, Farm or Commercial claims please call 1-877-682-5246.



The most efficient way to report your Home claim (not Farm or Business) may be through your Online Services Account here: Sign in to Online Services



If you do not have an Online Services Account yet, you can set one up here: register for an online account. This will allow you to not only report your property claim but follow it along the way at your convenience.



Please do not call our office for Auto/ Vehicle related claims. We cannot report these on the client’s behalf, they must go directly to MPIC. Call them at MPI's Contact Centre at 204-985-7000 or toll-free at 1-800-665-2410. Some claims can also be reported online here: https://www.mpi.mb.ca/. scroll to the bottom of the page and click open a claim.



Please be patient with us as we determine the state of our offices and who of our team is able to get to the office. You are in good hands with the various claims teams if we are unable to get your calls directly. We are all together in this. We are starting today in a community that has been shocked and hammered by last night’s storm. Most of us, like many of our neighbours and clients, spent the night bailing out their homes and businesses and helping others. We haven’t fully assessed the situation at our office as of yet but whatever the case we will be extremely short of resources to intake this volume of claims efficiently. Do not wait to call our office. If you call outside of hours or our phone lines are overwhelmed you will have an option to speak with our after hours emergency claims team and they will initiate a claim. Listen carefully to prompts and you will get help whether it’s from us directly or as member of the Co-operators claims team.

You can also call Co-operators direct for any Home, Farm or Commercial claims @ 1-877-682-5246.

If you have an Online Services account with us you can make your claim electronically from there as well and if you’d like to sign up for inline services so you can report your claim and follow it along the way please click the following link to do so. Due to call volumes this will be the most efficient way to report your claim for the time being.
