Paula Herr, our dynamic Service Associate, will be retiring on May 29th from the Simcoe location of McKay Insurance and Financial Services.

Prior to joining our team, Paula worked for many years in a few different capacities, including time in corrections, in sales, and in the banking sector. We were so fortunate that Paula decided to join our team in 2012. Paula achieved her Mutual Fund license in 2011 and her Life Insurance license in 2013.

Paula has been the friendly face of our Simcoe office for 14 years now, and it is difficult to express just how much we value her. She has been a joy to work with and over the years, she has built meaningful connections with so many of our clients. Paula is also an integral part of our work family.

Paula, you’ve been so fun to work with and such a team player as well. We wish you a long and healthy retirement and are happy that you will have more time to do what you love like spending time with family and friends, traveling to sunny destinations, cooking up some gourmet meals, and spending time at your weekend getaway.

Although Paula is a true one of a kind, we knew this day would eventually come and we have an experienced team in place to continue providing excellent customer service to our valued clients.

Heather Dobias, Service Associate of our Delhi location, will be retiring on May 29th after an outstanding 37-year career with McKay Insurance and Financial Services.

We are so grateful that a chance meeting on Main Street in Delhi with Brent’s father Gary in 1989 led to Heather accepting a position on the McKay team. Heather achieved her Life Insurance license in 1981 and her Mutual Fund license in 2006.

Heather has been a fixture in our Delhi office, and it is difficult to articulate how important and beloved she is to all of us. Many of our clients have built meaningful relationships and friendships with her over the years, based on trust, compassion and commitment. Heather has provided excellent service to generations of families in such an intentional and meaningful way.

Heather has been the glue of the Delhi office over the years. Although she is irreplaceable, we have planned and prepared for this day to continue her legacy of supporting clients.

Heather, we wish you all the best in your retirement and will truly miss our time together in the office but know you will remain an integral part of our local community. And we are so happy that you will have even more time for your “Littles”.
