When I first began working in Nigeria, I thought I was coming to make things better.

But very quickly, I realized that leadership in a developing environment does not begin with correction. It begins with understanding.

When we enter new spaces, it is easy to come in with ideas of what needs to change. But real transformation begins when we pause long enough to understand the people, the culture, the history and the environment we are stepping into.

Progress should never come from judgment.

It should come from honour.

Honour for the experiences that have shaped how people show up.

Merging Soul, Structure and Leadership

Without soul, structure loses its intelligence.

Soul, in this context, is not abstract.
It is the willingness to engage with people beyond surface-level interactions.

It is what allows leaders to create environments where people feel seen, not just managed.

Soul does not replace structure. It gives it depth.

The most effective leaders merge these three:

ensures people feel seen.
ensures people can perform.
ensures both are held with clarity and wisdom.

As organizations continue to evolve, so must leadership.

What a beautiful first week home! Tiring? YES! But worth it? 💯! These babies of mine are such beautiful humans and I am beyond grateful they chose me as a vessel for this lifetime.

After the busy holiday weekend, I find myself in a place of overflow and gratitude. 💕 The journey is very much about enjoying these moments. The moments of laughter, joy and gratitude. These are the moments we can call upon when life has her way with us. So we can begin to remember what it’s really all about. Staying in the energy of love, joy and happiness. Happy Easter to all, wishing you the same joy, peace and love. 💕
