Over the last few years in Manitoba, an estimated 60+ vehicles have fallen through thin/unsafe ice during early December and spring. Test the ice thickness and follow these guidelines before entering the ice surface.

If you’re going ice fishing, it's a good idea to check with a local expert about ice safety. Bait shops or lakeside businesses may know about the ice conditions. Always be safe and don’t put yourself or others at risk.

1 week today I will be in my new office!

I am happy to announce I have taken a hybrid Insurance Advisor position with One Insurance. I am beyond excited about this new chapter and look forward to helping my clients with all their insurance needs!

Tips to avoid water damage this Spring:

- Remove snow from roof (use roof rake to avoid going onto the roof and damaging the shingles)
- Shovel snow away from your house

Reminiscing about the good old days today! This was taken at the last Mid-Canada Boat Show. What I miss the most is being able to be out in the world talking with my clients and really getting to know their insurance needs. We have made getting insurance so easy that I can have everything done by email! As great as this is for my clients I do miss putting a face to a name.

Welcome 2022!

I am very excited to see what 2022 has in store for us all this year. The end of 2021 was very busy, lots of people were buying, renting and selling properties which keeps this insurance broker on her toes!

I missed a couple months but I’m happy to bring back the Let’s Talk Insurance posts!
