I was born and raised in the Philippines before my family immigrated to Canada in 1988, when I was 15 years old. We made Saskatchewan our home, where I learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and gratitude, principles that continue to guide me today.

For more than 18 years, I built a rewarding career in the dental field. I loved helping patients improve their health and confidence, and I never imagined I would one day pursue a completely different path. Dentistry wasn’t just my profession. It was what I knew and where I saw my future.

Everything changed in 2012 when I was introduced to Greatway Financial. I wasn’t skeptical of the opportunity. My first thought was simply, “This isn’t my line of work.” After nearly two decades in dentistry, changing careers was the last thing I expected.

But as I learned more about the mission of improving financial literacy and helping families build financial security, I realized this was much bigger than a career change, it was an opportunity to make a lasting impact. I said yes to the opportunity, not knowing how much it would change the course of my life.

Looking back, I realize that my career didn’t really change, it expanded. In dentistry, I had the privilege of helping one patient at a time. Today, I have the privilege of impacting countless lives, both directly and indirectly, by educating families, mentoring leaders, and helping others build meaningful careers in financial services.

With more than 14 years of experience in the financial industry, I currently serve as National Executive Vice Chair (NEVC). I have had the privilege of mentoring and developing leaders across Canada who share the same passion for serving families through financial education. Together, we continue to make a meaningful impact by helping people protect what matters most, build lasting financial security, and create stronger communities.

My journey is proof that sometimes the opportunities we never planned for become the ones that define our life’s purpose.

I’d make it even more personal and reflective, focusing on what a decade has meant rather than just the event itself.

As we celebrate 11 years of Greatway conventions, I can’t help but look back with a grateful heart.

Every convention tells a story. A story of ordinary people who chose to dream bigger, serve more families, and believe that a better future was possible. It’s where friendships became family, teammates became leaders, and challenges became testimonies.

Looking through the memories from 2016 to 2026, I see more than photos and videos. I see lives transformed, families empowered, milestones celebrated, and countless moments that remind us why we continue this mission.
