As some of you might have heard, my mother in law, Chandra, was severely injured from a fall down a flight of 14 ceramic tiled stairs on Friday night. We were all staying at an Airbnb cabin so when she woke up in unfamiliar surroundings at 4:00AM in the dark, she thought she was opening the door to the bathroom, but in a simple case of turning right rather than left, she opened the door to the stairs to the basement where Chantel and I were sleeping and stepped in as if she was stepping into solid ground. She remains in hospital for the time being and has a long road to recovery in front of her, so we’ve put together a go fund me to hopefully ease the financial burden her and Cam will have to carry as she won’t be able to work for quite a while after this. She’s an incredible woman who gives a lot and asks for little, so please help in any way you can. Thanks!
