We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mohammad Ziaul Haque as Executive Director (ED) of Nec Group , effective Saturday, 1 November 2025.

With over two decades of distinguished leadership in banking, international remittance, and mobile financial services (MFS), Mr. Haque brings extensive expertise and a proven record of driving innovation and sustainable growth.

Prior to joining NEC, Mr. Haque served as Vice President and Head of Remittance at Nagad, where he successfully launched mobile remittance services for both bKash and Nagad. His career also includes senior roles at UAE Exchange and Lulu International Exchange in the UAE, as well as Dhaka Bank and BRAC Bank in Bangladesh. Additionally, he founded Zayfa Mart Ltd. , an initiative committed to ensuring safe food for urban consumers.

Mr. Haque holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Dhaka and an Advanced Certificate in Business Administration (ACBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.

We are confident that Mr. Haque’s strategic vision, deep industry insight, and passion for excellence will further strengthen Nec Group position as a leader in the global remittance ecosystem.

تَقَبَّلَ اللّٰهُ مِنَّا وَمِنكُمْ
তাকাব্বালাল্লাহু মিন্না ওয়া মিনকুম
অর্থ: "আল্লাহ আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে এবং তোমাদের পক্ষ থেকেও কবুল করুন।"

اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلّٰهِ الْحَمْدُ
