We’re hiring a Bookkeeper! 📊

We’re looking for someone who’s not only detail-oriented and reliable, but also genuinely enjoys working with people. A big part of this role is communicating with clients from a wide range of industries and backgrounds — so being approachable, patient, and clear in your communication is just as important as being accurate with the numbers.

You’ll be working in QuickBooks, handling day-to-day bookkeeping, and helping clean up and maintain organized financial records. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone our clients feel comfortable reaching out to — whether they’re experienced business owners or completely new to bookkeeping.

We’re a supportive team that values independence, strong communication, and doing things right the first time. If you take pride in your work, enjoy helping others, and can bring both accuracy and a human touch to your role, we’d love to hear from you.

👉 Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and bank reconciliations is a strong asset.

Day 3 of 7, Bookkeeping myths vs facts

"The CRA". 9/10 business owners have stress flags flying when this is the topic of a conversation. It really does not need to be stressful.

Even if you are an annual gst filer, if your NET GST payment will be $3000, or more, then CRA expectations are quarterly instalments.

TIP: Get in the habit to make monthly gst payments. Take your gst collected, deduct your income tax credits and send in some cash. This keeps you from having to pay one large lump sum at the end of the year, and it takes away any chance of being dinged with fees + interest. A positive cash flow tactic.

With regular reconciliations + support, you can easily pull a number to track when you meet thresholds for taxes, see amounts quickly that should be made, ease stress.

Day 2 of 7, Business Bookkeeping Myth vs. Fact

Cash in the bank does not mean your business is turning profit.

So many things come into play:

Have you reconciled your accounts? Not just the bank, but all loan + tax accounts as well

What do your accounts payable + receivable picture look like? Knowing your cash flow is a real thing.

Have you set enough aside for tax filing?

Do you make installments to your sales tax accounts?

There are many things that impact the true picture.

Day 1 of 7, bookkeeping fact vs myth time 😉

Dare we say it........3 months left in 2025. Only three. Time flies by. Do not wait until January to decide you need help organizing your business. It is tough to find quality bookkeeping availability once tax time hits, and it causes you stress that could have been avoided.

Reach out, set up a time to chat about where your business is at and what you need assistance with to stay on top of things on a regular basis. Tax time is not the only benefit to monthly bookkeeping - being able to have a clear picture of what is actually coming in and going out each month and learning how to assess your success is a huge pro.

just a note...if you have access to your CRA account then amazing! IF NOT, call the cra asap to get that access - this makes it sooooo much easier for whoever does your taxes, whether its yourself, us or anywhere else 🙂
