We need you help. The government is trying to change the way that financial advisors are payed. This can have a drastic impact for the average person. At the moment I give advice for free and if you like what I propose and you go ahead with the services I get paid a commission. If you do not go ahead with anything then I don't get paid and either way no money is coming out of your pocket. If the government gets their way all the free advice will stop as the only way for advisors to be paid will be a fee for service. You will be charged per hour for the advice. If you do not like the advice and don't go ahead then you are still having to pay for the time that you spent with your advisor.
