We had a busy weekend full of great events! On Saturday, RCU volunteers helped out at the Crimson Lake Trail Run, running hydration stations along the course. Then on Sunday, RCU volunteers had the privilege of presenting buckles to the Battle of the Rockies Champion, Chanse Vigen, with outriders Tyler DeSutter and Rory Gervais.

It's always a ton of fun when Community Connections Child Care Centre comes for a branch tour! This batch of kids was so smart and so funny. We showed them our coin counter, teller stations, coin roller, vaults, safety deposit boxes, then played a game to learn about investing. Plus, Fat Cat was in today to say hi!

There were lots of laughs - here are some of the highlights from the kids answering our questions:
"What would you buy with $31.50?" "Mexico!"
"How can we tell that this is a fake bill?" "Because it says 'school money' on it."
"What kind of exercise should Fat Cat do to get less fat?" "Parkour!"
"What are you saving your piggy bank money for?" "A Lamborghini!"
"What prized possession would you want to keep in a safety deposit box?" "My stuffies!"

We were happy to donate to the Rocky Public Library, going towards their Summer Reading Club and fall programs! 📚

The Battle of the Rockies - Rocky Mountain Chuckwagon Association is back starting August 12th, and we're a proud sponsor again this year! 🐎

The RMH Filipino-Canadian Community Association is hosting their 6th annual Food & Music Festival at the Lou Soppit Community Centre on Aug. 29th from 11:30 - 4. We donated towards their food costs, so they can provide free food for attendees! 🇵🇭

We donated a raffle prize to CS3 Hockey Development for their Rocky summer camp that just wrapped up! 🏒
