With automobile insurance policies becoming increasingly unaffordable for drivers in Ontario, the provincial government has introduced OPCF 49 to help address this problem.
Beginning next year, this option will be available through all automobile insurers in Ontario for their customers.
Although it has been touted as a way to help keep premiums down, it also exposes drivers to greater financial risk should this option be added to their policies.
