Richmond Hill 2025/02/14 – Li Chen, Desjardins Agent in Richmond Hill ON, is thrilled to be presenting a Desjardins Foundation prize for $3,000 to the King Catholic Elementary School for their Student Nutrition Club project.

The Desjardins Foundation Prizes are awarded to projects headed up by school and community workers to benefit kindergarten, elementary and high school students. Financial assistance is granted to projects with the greatest potential to motivate young people.

"When kids love school, they have better grades, greater perseverance, and an improved well-being. That's why we created the Desjardins Foundation Prizes. The initiatives and projects we support can keep students motivated and have a positive impact on their education. We give teachers and youth workers the opportunity to meet kids where they are and make a real difference. It's empowering," explained Nancy Lee, Executive director of the Desjardins Foundation.

Desjardins Foundation Prizes provide financial assistance to individuals in schools or community settings, helping them bring important projects to life.
