When we work together, the first thing we'll do is explore your goals (all of them – the big ones and the small ones), clearly define them, make them actionable and prioritize them. It's your goals – along with the opportunities and challenges that are unique to you and your family – that will guide us to the investments that make sense for you. I don't believe in cookie cutter portfolios. And at
Edward Jones, because we have no proprietary products, we're able to explore the world of investments rather than be tied to a few that we are able to consider. That empowers me to create a tailor-made portfolio just for you. In our work, I'll be your guide and coach who recommends smart moves for you, a motivator to keep you focused on your goals when other things tempt your money away and a sounding board when you have financial decisions to make. Together, we'll keep your financial needs on the front burner and a secure future in your mind's eye. Before joining Edward Jones, I spent 20 years in the mountain guiding and heli-ski industry here in town as a guide then manager. There's an interesting parallel between these professions – both demand exceptional client service, strong communication skills, risk assessment, personal responsibility, hard work and the confidence to guide people toward their personal best. On a personal note, my partner and I live for outdoor adventure. We fish, camp, climb, bike, golf and ski, and we can always find a renovation project to do. I am blessed to have two outrageously fun daughters, ages 9 and 11. Balancing personal and professional interests, I keep active and engaged with a variety of professional and community groups.
