Flooding can happen to anyone. That's why SGI CANADA is introducing a new sewer back-up valve rebate for our home insurance customers.

Beginning Aug. 1, 2026, customers who file a new, valid sewer back-up claim may be eligible for a full rebate on the purchase and installation of an approved sewer back-up valve.

A few simple steps can help reduce your risk of water damage:
-Install and maintain sump pumps and backflow valves
-Keep eaves troughs and downspouts clear and directing water away from your home
-Seal foundation gaps and protect utilities from water damage
-Consider a backup power source for your home's flood protection systems
