September through December is like a blur in my household- school days, ALL the sports starting up, both my kids have birthdays, and then I BLINK😳 and it’s Christmas. 🎄

I often have things fall by the wayside and sneak up on me because I’m in “Auto Pilot”.

All you have to do is give up your future options and promise that nothing will change in your life for the next 5 years. Easy right? I mean not much has happened in the last 5 years!!🫠

It’s Spring, which means all the banks and Credit Unions are going to start flashing these words around. They’re hoping you will be dazzled by their low rate and not read the fine print.
‌
These mortgages have higher payout penalties, limited options for prepayments, and the inability to refinance or pay the mortgage out early unless you SELL YOUR HOME! Yikes!

But hey, life always stays the same for 5 years, nothing big ever comes out, whats the risk!?

When our economy is suffering, the only tool the Bank of Canada has in their belt is to drop Prime Rate. They need to make life as affordable as possible for Canadians. So, Prime Rate will CONTINUE to ⬇️drop⬇️ for the next while.

The great news is, rates are the ONLY thing we DON’T need to actually be worried about this Spring.

I hate to break it to you, but all you’ve done is an online calculator. Trusting that this will get you to the finish line of purchasing a house is as crazy as thinking the W***y Wonka Slot Machine in Vegas will grow your retirement funds. It’s just not a gamble you should be taking!🎲
