What started with a shared love for the outdoors, and a conversation around a campfire, has grown into a business making a meaningful difference.

Canadian Heritage Roasting Company was founded by wildland firefighters who turned their passion for great coffee into a purpose-driven company. Today, they roast organic coffee that's approachable, bold and smooth while helping restore Canada's natural landscapes through their commitment to plant a tree for every bag sold.

With a goal of planting one million trees by 2030, they're proving that a great business can create a positive impact far beyond its products.

From meaningful conversations to new connections, Salon de l'agriculture et Expo-Champs once again brought the agriculture community together in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec.

Our team had the opportunity to talk with producers, customers and industry partners, hearing about the opportunities and challenges they’re seeing, and how FCC can help. These important conversations are the main reason we attend Expo-Champs and similar events across the country each year.

Beyond the FCC booth, attendees also gathered at the FCC Agora, a new space where producers and partners, including Fédération de la relève agricole du Québec - FRAQ, Agricultrices du Québec, Arterre and FAC AgExpert came together to share knowledge and support the next generation of agriculture.

Thank you to Expo-Champs, our partners, and everyone who took the time to visit with us throughout the week. We're proud to be part of an industry that continues to move forward through collaboration, innovation and community.

Demand for frozen food is outpacing that of fresh food in Canada, creating opportunities to capture more value from domestic production while helping households manage affordability, convenience and food waste.
