This is an opportunity for someone who brings integrity, objectivity, sound judgment and diplomacy to a senior leadership role responsible for establishing, leading and sustaining an independent internal audit function. Reporting to Conexus’ Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Internal Audit provides objective assurance and advisory services that help strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across the organization.

Today we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This is a day to honour survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home and recognize the lasting impacts on Indigenous peoples, families and communities.

Reconciliation is a journey, one that requires us to keep listening, keep learning, and most importantly, turn what we learn into action. We strive to continue learning and become stronger allies in order to contribute to positive change across Saskatchewan, lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6 and 10, the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as the homeland of the Métis.

We encourage you to take a step in your own learning journey today. Attend an event, listen to Indigenous voices, learn about the history of residential schools or simply take time to reflect.
