We are a full service insurance office, and one of Saskatchewan's busiest SGI motor license issuers. Smiths' Insurance was founded in 1980.

We began as a small two person office opened by Dan & Carol Smith, and have grown into a team of about of about 15. We are now a full service insurance office, and one of Saskatchewan's busiest SGI motor license issuers. We are also proud to be one of Regina's last family run, 100% Regina-owned & operated general insurance brokerages. Treating people right is fundamental to how we do business. We

treat customers how we'd expect to be treated, and treat each other like family. This means giving honest and straight-forward advice, the whole story, paying attention to details, and being available to our clients whenever possible.

As of November 1st, 2021, Smiths’ Insurance will officially be Henderson Insurance!

Here’s what you can expect on Monday:

- There will be new signage and branding along with new email addresses.
- Our office will continue with regular hours.
- The same staff you’ve worked closely with over the years are here and excited for our next chapter!

Answer: Yes! We will be able to help you in all the same ways and more, due to the increased expertise and shared resources this collaboration has brought.

Question: Will the Dewdney Office be closed at all during the transition?

Answer: No! Our goal for this merger is to make it as seamless as possible, and you can expect business will continue as usual. The only change you will experience is new signage, branding and email addresses.

It’s been an exciting year for us here at Smiths’ Insurance. We are pleased to announce we are merging with Henderson Insurance, a local Saskatchewan brokerage who have been leaders in insurance and risk management for over 55 years.

Our name will officially change to Henderson Insurance effective November 1st. There is new signage and branding along with new email addresses, but beyond this, it’s business as usual. You’ll continue to receive the same exceptional service you’ve come to expect from us, from the same team members you’ve grown to love!

We are thrilled at the opportunities this will bring to our clients as this collaboration will mean more resources and expertise to help you succeed.

We hope you all join us in wearing orange and take time to recognize, reflect and continue our learning of the impacts and truth about residential schools.

With Autumn officially underway, now is the time to revisit your seasonal property to ensure peace of mind throughout the winter months:

✅ water valves are shut off

✅ cupboard doors where pipes are isolated are left open

✅ sprinkler lines are blown out

✅ All doors and windows are properly shut and locked

✅ Arrange regular check ins whether it’s by you, a family member, or trusted Neighbour.

If you need, we can help you take the time now while you’re closing your cabin to be sure that you have proper insurance in place. Also consider that if you’re hauling a trailer home, you may need to extend your auto policy.

Jordan is known for his inclusive and collaborative leadership style. His passion for learning and technology has brought Smiths’ Insurance into the future, in fact he led our transition to a paperless office, and we now have spread sheets for everything (which we are very grateful for).

Afghan Cuisine is a local Regina restaurant. Currently, the owners are under a great deal of distress with family members in Afghanistan. We can support them by ordering a meal (dine in, take out, and delivery options available). The Smiths’ Insurance team enjoyed a delicious lunch from them this week.

They’re great people, serving great food. Let’s come together and help them out during these unimaginable times!
