We’re proud to highlight Ariel for dedicating time this week to support an important community initiative.

In celebration of its 15th Anniversary, Mother Teresa Middle School invited supporters to help create bracelets that will be shared with students as symbols of encouragement and support throughout the year.

The bracelets were used to decorate tables at a donor celebration event, where attendees were invited to write personal notes of encouragement to accompany each bracelet before they are distributed to students.

Thank you, Ariel, for representing our team and helping make a positive impact in the community.

Jen and Devin had a great evening at the Construction Association of Nova Scotia's De-Icer on April 17th! Bringing together professionals from every corner of the industry, the De-Icer is Nova Scotia's largest construction networking event of the year, with over 2,000 attendees, and it never disappoints.

They even had the chance to snap a photo with Nova Scotia celebrities “Ricky” and “Randy” from Trailer Park Boys!

Today, Western Surety is wearing green in honour of Green Shirt Day. 💚

On April 7, 2018, Humboldt Broncos defenceman Logan Boulet passed away following the tragic bus crash. His parents chose to honour his wish to be an organ donor, and in the weeks that followed, nearly 150,000 Canadians registered to do the same, sparking what became known as the Logan Boulet Effect.

Green Shirt Day was established to pay tribute to the victims and families affected by the tragic crash, while carrying forward Logan’s legacy by inspiring Canadians to talk to their families and register as organ donors.

Last night, the Construction Association of Saskatchewan - CASK hosted a fantastic Beer & Boar event at the Sportsman Centre in Moose Jaw, bringing together members of the local construction community for an evening of connection and good company.

We were proud to sponsor the meal, expertly prepared by Prairie Smoke and Spice. Nolan and Ben from our team were on hand to enjoy the evening, which kicked off with welcome cocktails, followed by a great dinner and an energetic night of games and networking with industry peers.

We always appreciate opportunities to support events that strengthen relationships and bring our industry together.

Earlier this month Greg, Paul, James, and Jen represented Western Surety at the Canadian Construction Association's Annual Conference in Coronado, San Diego. We were also proud to support the event as a Silver Sponsor.

This year's event brought together some of the brightest minds in Canadian construction for standout keynote speakers, meaningful industry conversations, and the kind of face-to-face networking that doesn't happen anywhere else.
