Are you and your family covered?

People always say things like "well Alberta Health pays for it!"

Yes, you are covered in that sense. But what about missing work? Gas to drive to and from a hospital? Medical equipment? Food? Parking?

Wouldn't it be nice to receive additional money in the event life takes some unexpected turns?

Is there a "right" age in your mind?

We often come across young individuals especially who think they are invincible. We know exactly what that feels like. But working in the insurance industry I wish I knew what I know now.

I would say that the day a person is born is the best time to get coverage, it is by far the cheapest and there is so much benefit to having coverage in place. The next best time is NOW.

To us, the right age is whatever age you are today.

What have you found to be challenging about finding great coverage for you or your family?

What we have found is there are a lot of options and many different companies to choose from.

A lot of companies also have over complicated policies that seem impossible to understand.

We want to simplify things for people.

We focus on the coverage that is easier to understand, we work closely with our clients and review their coverage with them every 6-12 months.

This is so important to think about.

Life is so unpredictable when it comes to our health and all the things that can happen to us that are unexpected.

No one wants to be sick, hurt or injured in anyway, but when it does happen it is important that we had the conversation.

The biggest thing we find with families is that they did not have protection in place when they needed it the most and it leads to more stress that could have been unavoidable.

Our family is the most important part to our lives.

Being a parent changes everything!

There is such an overwhelming feeling of love and life that can come from having a child and we would do anything to protect our children.

To us, one of the best ways to protect our kids is by having great coverage in place for lifes hiccups.

The coverage is just peace of mind and not the kid of coverage that requires such a major event but coverage for even the little things.

Because our coverage is so diverse and unique to the industry the things we cover most companies do not.

We pay lump sums for broken bones and stitches.

We cover pre-existing conditions after 24 months.

We allow kids to stay on family plans until age 25 most other companies cut kids off at age 18-21. And if any health changes take place in that time, they can have coverage at 25 as if they never had a change in health. So, it is a great way to really help our kids with coverage for their entire life.

We cover chipped teeth and wisdom teeth removal, which almost all people will have happen at some point it seems.

We cover critical illnesses.

Listen we all know someone who has been diagnosed Cancer and so many people survive the battle these days.

We all know of people who have had wisdom teeth removed, had their appendix removed, had kidney stones, arthritis, things inside the body needing some attention.

We also know of or have been a person who broke bones or got stitches, were in a car accident and were injured or were hospitalized.

We have also heard of the complications that exist with pregnancy's.

These are ALL things we cover.

We cover pre-existing conditions after 24 months, even Crohn's disease and are the only ones in North America that we know of.

We pay lump sum payments form broken bones and stitches, seems crazy I know but it is up to $4000 for each incident.

We simply have insurance but in a way that you would have only seen if you are a client of ours already.

The insurance game has been outdated selling Life insurance primarily, someone has to pass away in most cases to benefit.

Family is so important and anyone who has a child knows just how powerful and instant the love is for our children as soon as they are born.
