Accent Credit Union We put the Accent on service. We officially became ‘Accent Credit Union’ in 2010, after a most fortunate merger of Quill Lake and Kelvington Credit Unions.

Before we even opened our doors, our team agreed that we would put the accent on service in every member interaction, community event and strategic decision we had or made. We’re happy to say that it’s working. Our members are happy, our staff is thriving, we’ve already exceeded our initial goals and our future looks extremely bright. Thank you to everyone who came out to Quill Lake yesterday to support our Community BBQ. This year, Quill Lake Beautification Association was chosen as the recipient of our BBQ proceeds.

We sold over 150 plates of beef on a bun, collecting $780.25 to donate back into the community.

In addition, we'd like to recognize the Quill Lake Senior Centre for the use of their beautiful building. Not only did the Senior Centre accommodate us with the use of their facility on short notice (you never know what this Saskatchewan weather is going to do!), but they very generously donated the funds from the rental of the Centre back into the community as well.

It is our great pleasure to announce, on behalf of Accent Credit Union and the Quill Lake Senior Centre, that we were able to make a donation of $880.25 to the Quill Lake Beautification Association!
