Wishing a sleigh full of thanks to everyone that supported and generously donated toys and cash to our 6th annual Santa breakfast and toy drive yesterday at the Carlson Community club. We provided a delicious breakfast to more than 300 people and collected a huge number of toys to support the Salvation Army and Christmas Cheer committee’s christmas hampers for the less fortunate in our community. Special thanks to the Underwriters and Verecan staff that volunteered for this event along with our friends and family and to our chefs Mark Dowling of Rocky Mountain Pizza and Bakery and Bill Chinn for the fabulous food. Thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus who took time away from their very busy schedule to join us and lastly to Loretta Cameron for organizing and putting the event together every year. Merry Christmas to all!

We are looking forward to hosting this fabulous community event again this coming Sunday upstairs at the Carlson Community Club. Please come out to enjoy breakfast on us, and support our local charities!

Santa’s making an extra visit to Powell River this year, and he’s bringing breakfast! Join us on December 7th, from 9 AM to 1 PM, at the Carlson Community Club Loft for Santa’s Breakfast.

Drop off a new toy or gift card for our Toy Drive, and then join us for a delicious breakfast served by Santa's elves, and stick around for crafts, music, and festive fun!

A lot of clients have been getting spam texts, supposedly from ICBC - beware of this scam and do not trust any text messages if they claim they are from ICBC. https://icbc.com/faq/scams-fraud

�We never contact customers via text about driving infractions or outstanding debt and do not ask for payment via an e-transfer link in a text message.

If you receive a suspicious message, please delete it—it’s a scam.
