Today, members of the Macdonald Fire Department were pleased to provide support at the Bridges Golf Course during the Winnipeg Tactical EMS Team Golf Tournament.

Events like this are a great opportunity to support our emergency service partners while building relationships that strengthen cooperation throughout our communities.

Thank you to the Winnipeg Tactical EMS Team for inviting us to be part of a fantastic day. We appreciate all those who helped make the event a success.

πŸ”₯πŸš’ A record-breaking year for fire safety education in Morden! πŸš’πŸ”₯
Last week, Morden Fire & Rescue joined Boston Pizza Morden for our annual Fire Chief of the Day draw.

This year saw the highest number of entries ever in our local program.
Congratulations to Waylon from Miss Thiessen's Grade 1 class at Maple Leaf School, who is the 2026 Fire Chief of the Day! Waylon will step into the role next week for a behind-the-scenes look at the fire service. πŸ§‘β€πŸš’

Thank you to the students, families, teachers, and staff at Maple Leaf School and Γ‰cole Discovery Trails School for embracing fire safety education, and to Boston Pizza Morden for their continued support of this important community program. β€οΈπŸ•πŸš’
