Our drive-thru Soupfest is BACK on April 4th! Same great price for a hearty & helpful meal 🥣
All proceeds from your purchase of a ticket will go towards the food bank, meal program, as well as crisis intervention services, and all sorts of family support!
Last year 1,700 people were registered to receive assistance through the food bank – that was up by more than 400 people at the beginning of the pandemic. Now the number of local residents has jumped exponentially to 2,610 – of which more than 30% are children living in low-income households.
“To put it in perspective our food bank is helping at least one out of eight local residents in Port Colborne.”
Pre-pandemic, there were 436 individuals registered for the meal program and now there are over 861.
Tickets will stay the same price ($25) as in previous years to help in the fight against inflation. Ticket holders can pull up anytime between 11:30 am – 5:00 pm at the Reach Out Centre, 61 Nickel Street, and choose their soups all while staying in their vehicle.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
4 soups, 4 freshly baked biscuits, and 4 brownies
WHAT'S ON THE MENU:
Ham & Split Pea, Mixed Bean Vegetable, and Turkey Noodle
