School is back next week, and that means busier roads, school zones and crosswalks across B.C.

A few reminders for drivers:
• School-zone limits are 30 km/h from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on school days, unless otherwise posted
• Stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing
• Leave your phone alone and watch for children walking, cycling or riding scooters
• If another vehicle stops near a crosswalk, be ready to stop too

A little extra time and attention can help everyone start the school year safely.
