While every family is different, the current average allowance is often around $5–$15 per week for school-aged kids, depending on the chores involved.

Using "Save, Spend, Share" jars is a great way to spark a conversation with your child about long-term goals versus short-term wants. Plus, teaching them to split their money now builds the habits they need for bigger goals later, like saving for their education!

We have it on good authority that this mix will help you power through all the holiday festivities, including but not limited to: sledding, snowball fights, gift wrapping, snowman building, cookie baking, and grandparent visiting!

INGREDIENTS:
Chex cereal
Cheerios
Mini pretzels
M&Ms
Melted white chocolate

PREPARATION:
Pour the cereals, pretzels, and M&Ms into a large bowl.
Heat the white chocolate until smooth, then drizzle it over the bowl.
Stir everything gently, spread it on a sheet, and let it set.
Break it into pieces and enjoy the crunch!

Today I not only Remember those who have sacrificed their lives defending our Country, and the families that lost their loved ones... but I also remember those who are currently defending our Country and to the sacrifices that are made, and to our Vets.

So at 11am this morning ... please STOP what you are doing, if you are on the road - pull over ... bow your heads and give a moment of silence ... and show your respect for our freedom.

Thank you to those who served and continue to serve and to my friends serving in my community. To my Uncle Arnold, my Mom's biological Dad, uncles and Grandfather, and Rebekah's Grandfather, Lynn Snider. To the many others I know for your service and sacrifices made ... You all have my love and respect! ❤

There is no Soldier who goes to war and comes home "unwounded" Freedom, is never ever free!!
