Volunteers are mobilized when local and/or provincial authorities request ALERT’s expertise. The current environment of wildfires and flooding due to drastic weather changes continues to increase demand for our services.

ALERT is committed to ensuring that during an emergency or disaster people know there is an organization that recognizes their animals are family. Knowing that their animals are safe allows owners to initiate their own timely evacuation. The dedication and expertise of ALERT volunteers provides a lifeline for animals and their pet guardians during emergencies.
