Very little new snow overnight was good news for City of Penticton crews Friday.

Stay Safe and help out where you can.

❄ It’s snowing! City crews and plows are out. With this significant snow fall, consider staying home today to allow our crews to safely carry out operations to get the roads safe for travel.

We all have a role to play in removing snow and ice. To protect neighbours and residents, property owners are required to clear sidewalks before 11:00am on the morning after a snow fall.

A few quick reminders this morning:
❄ Please clean your whole car off before heading to work.

❄ Make sure to give yourself a few extra minutes for snow removal and a slower drive.

❄ With this type of snow accumulation, it can be difficult to find our fire hydrants, please shovel out and around your fire hydrants 3 feet. This will help our Fire Department find them and use them if there is a fire.

Let's all do our part to help keep the sidewalks clean and safe for the community.
