We’re thrilled to thank the Newfoundland Regiment for presenting KidSport NL with a $5000 donation during Saturday nights game!

This incredible support will help us give more kids accross Newfoundland and Labrador the opportunity to get in the game, try a new sport, build confidence and be part of a team.

THANK YOU VOCM Cares Foundation

We’re incredibly grateful to the VOCM Cares foundation for generous support of KidSport Newfoundland & Labrador.

This investment will help more children and youth access organized sport by reducing financial barriers for families across our province.

Every child deserves the chance to play, belong and experience the lifelong benefits of sport.

Thank you for making that possible.

HELP STEPHENVILLE WIN $100,000 for sports and recreation!

Stephenville is participating in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge, where communities compete to win up to $100,000 for sport and recreation.

How it works:
- Communities track total movement minutes
- The community with the highest participation (adjusted for population) wins.

Small communities like ours are very competitive in this format.

How you (or your organization) can help:
- Register on the ParticipACTION website: https://www.participaction.com/programs/community-challenge/
- Track participation (number of people + time active)
- Submit your data throughout June

Examples include:
- Sports programs (soccer, ball hockey, baseball, etc.)
- Fitness facilities and classes
- Walking groups, gyms, and individual participants

We are aiming for full community participation, and every contribution counts. Stephenville recently won $50,000 for its ice arena. Let's keep the momentum going and win another $100,000 for our community.

Here is a video I made to walk you through how to register on the ParticipACTION site. https://www.loom.com/share/874589a1e9704c1c8a760dc3173c56ae
