Meet the team behind your financial plan.

Kevin Fox works closely with clients to help support their long-term financial goals and the day-to-day decisions that keep their plans moving forward.

As an Associate Advisor, Kevin plays an important role in portfolio reviews, investment management, and ongoing client service. He works with many of our established client families, helping coordinate the details behind their plans and supporting them through important financial decisions. He believes that strong relationships are built through clear communication and taking the time to understand what matters most to each client.

Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys playing music and hockey. While he has called different parts of Canada home over the years, he was raised in and continues to live in the Ottawa area.

“Why is it important to revisit my financial plan?”

It’s a question we hear fairly often. For some clients, strategies that were once working well can start to look a little different as life changes.

Insurance may have been put in place for a specific reason that no longer applies, investments can end up spread across different institutions, and certain positions can grow larger than originally intended simply by being left alone.

These changes are usually gradual and easy to miss in the day-to-day. But over time, they add up, and the overall plan can drift from how it was originally set up.

Three weeks after purchasing our family cottage, I got a phone call no property owner ever wants to receive: there had been a fire.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. But in the aftermath, I was reminded how quickly circumstances can change and how little control we have over unexpected events.
The experience reinforced something I often discuss with clients: insurance isn't about expecting the worst, it's about being prepared if the unexpected happens. Protecting what you've built is just as important as building it in the first place.

When you're facing a difficult situation, the last thing you want to be stressing about is your finances. I'm grateful my family had the right coverage when we needed it most.

While our team does not focus on property insurance, helping clients with disability, life, critical illness coverage is an important part of the work we do every day, so they can know they're protected when life doesn't go according to plan.
