Kyle Seabrooke, RRC - Sun Life Financial Planner I am a Sun Life Financial Advisor. The posts on this page are my personal opinions, and do not reflect the official position of Sun Life Financial.

When I look at your Financial Plan, I make sure that you have a financial goal. First I help you protect that goal, for example buying a home, with the proper coverage ie: life, disability and health insurance. This way you aren’t drawing on your investments or going into debt should you suffer an illness, or if a spouse/loved one has passed away. Then I help you achieve your financial goals throu

gh proper budgeting and investing. Navigating the waters of financial planning can be difficult without a good grasp of the financial markets and the vehicles available to you (RRSP’s/TFSA’s, Corporate Class Funds). That is where advisors like myself come in. My target market is young people like myself; getting them started, because the younger you are, the more time you have to achieve your goal. Compound interest is your best friend! As a professional Financial Advisor, all of your info given to me is confidential. “When do I invest, the markets are crazy right now!” The power of staying invested, cannot be overstated. Trying to “time” the markets by jumping in and out is an incredibly difficult thing to do. If your time horizon for investing is 10+ years, and you are well diversified, stay invested. Make sure to sit with a licensed advisor to make sure your investments reflect your true risk tolerance.
