Bank of Canada has just announced a 100 basis point increase to their policy rate, now 2.50%.

The Bank of Canada (BoC) promised to raise rates again, and today they did just that. This morning, the BoC announced the greatest hike we have seen since 1998, increasing their policy rate by 100 basis points to 2.50%.
