Happy International Women’s Day.
We are raising two girls who know their place in the world isn’t on the sidelines.
They already lace up their skates, step onto the soccer field, and run straight into spaces that, not too long ago, were considered “for boys.”
And they don’t hesitate.
They compete.
They fall.
They get back up.
They score.
They cheer for their teammates.
And they learn that strength doesn’t come from fitting in, it comes from showing up exactly as you are.
My hope as their mom is simple:
That they grow up knowing they belong anywhere they choose to stand, whether that’s on the ice, on the field, in a boardroom, or building something entirely their own.
Strong.
Independent.
And completely unapologetic about it.
Because the world doesn’t need girls who shrink themselves to fit in.
It needs girls who step forward and take up space. 💪✨
