I had a wonderful time yesterday volunteering at The Sharing Place here in Orillia with some incredible colleagues.

We were proud to donate $1500 to the food bank, courtesy of RBC, and then we rolled up our sleeves to work. Together, we managed to prepare over 500L of gravy, which is certainly the most gravy I have ever made.

This was an awesome way to support a much needed cause here in Orillia.

I am incredibly proud to share that, thanks to the generosity of friends, family, colleagues, and clients, My mother, Lynne Jenkins and I raised over $2,700 for North Simcoe Victim Services Orillia Ride For Refuge. It was a great day all around. Beautiful weather, great company, and an even better cause.

A huge thank you to North Simcoe Victim Services for the incredible work you do in our community, and to everyone who donated and supported the cause. Your kindness truly makes a difference.

Did you know that 21% of households in Simcoe Muskoka experienced food insecurity in 2022?

Me and my partners didn't - we had the amazing opportunity to volunteer at The Sharing Place here in Orillia and learn from its incredible team. We spent a bit of time touring the facility and then got to work - we chopped up about 50lbs of onions and carrots, hopefully making life just a little bit easier on the kitchen team. On top of that, with the support from our RBC Communities Together Fund, we were also able to fund the purchase of a water softener.

Thank you to The Sharing Place for providing a safe space for our community and all the amazing work you do. Also, thank you to all my partners who organized and volunteered at this event with me.
