Took Kristie to Bluebird Café for our 22nd wedding anniversary dinner… Except I booked Bluebird Kitchen by mistake in New York.

They even called to see why we were late!!!

No wonder Rick was a little perplexed at my confident entrance and the words "we have a reservation" while the place was jam packed at the intended choice ...The Bluebird Cafe in Orangeville.

Thanks to you Rick & Michelle for rescuing us! And the wonderful staff at BLUEBIRD CAFE in Orangeville, Ontario CANADA!!!! for for a wonderful dinner and taking care of us.

Today marks the end of an era as we celebrate the retirement of Edina Sell, who has officially hung up her underwriter cape—effective today.

After 25 years in the mortgage industry—including the last 5 with our team—Edina “Hawkeye” Sell is officially retiring.

Behind the scenes but always ahead of the curve, Edina caught what others missed. Her precision, work ethic, and loyalty made her truly irreplaceable.

While most clients never met her, Edina played a vital role in helping thousands of families throughout her 25-year career in the mortgage industry—indirectly but powerfully—with every file she touched.

Edina, thank you for everything—and most of all, for over 20 years of friendship, which means the world to me and my family.

The Bank of Canada just hit pause – again.

No change to the overnight lending rate (which most of us expected). But with all the uncertainty around tariffs, the Bank is clearly staying cautious – and that means we’re still in “wait-and-see” mode.

The misfits finally reunite...When I was a kid growing up, trying to make sense of a chaotic world and an even louder mind, it was Ozzy Osbourne’s voice that cut through the noise. And then came Randy Rhoads — like something I never experienced.

The first time I heard Mr. Crowley, it was like someone cracked open my soul. Their music became the soundtrack to my self-belief. It made me want to create. To take risks. To build. It helped me survive the low points and celebrate the wins.

So yeah — Ozzy and Randy didn’t just change my taste in music.

They helped shape the man I became. RIP Ozzy we love you. Long live rock n'fn roll.
