Brandy Gruening is the in-house Senior Wealth Advisor at the Williams Lake and District Credit Union’s branch in 100 Mile House. Brandy is registered to sell mutual funds in the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta through Aviso Wealth. After much hard work she has acquired her Personal Financial Planner (PFP®) Designation, as well as certificates in Financial Services Advice, Advanced Financial Advice and Advanced Mutual Funds Advice and through the Canadian Securities Institute. Throughout her career development Brandy has also acknowledged the many changes taking place in the Marketplace and acquired the Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) Designation granted by the Responsible Investment Association Of Canada. Purposefully acquiring this designation has enabled her to position her perspective and advice towards not only earning positive returns for her members but doing so in a way that is also socially and ethically responsible with a focus on improving the environment in which we all live. Tamara and I had so much fun at Lone Butte Rocks yesterday! The weather held out, we saw so many familiar faces and lots of new ones too, and the food trucks *chefs kiss* (Especially when you haven't had a stove for a week). Oh and we had the best view of both the kids zone - which bounced non-stop! as well as the Lone Butte Fire Dept.'s dunk tank. I'd say it was a great time had by all!

It's the last day of school, and that means it's officially summer break ☀️!

Well, not quite - After tomorrow I am taking 2 weeks off to hang out with my family to rest, reset, get sandy & sunburnt, and hopefully enjoy some beautiful Cariboo scenery.

I will however be at Lone Butte Rocks on Sunday July 12th, where we will have our Williams Lake & District Credit Union tent set up with some fun goodies and a couple of awesome gift baskets to enter your name in for to win. Who's coming? 😎

Android app update — a quick heads up 📱

We pushed an update to our Android app this morning that fixes a display issue some of you ran into, where your available balance wasn't refreshing to show the latest figure. Your balances were always accurate on our end — the app just wasn't keeping up. That's sorted now.

Most devices will grab the update on their own. If you'd rather not wait, pop into the Google Play Store and update to the latest version.

Still seeing the old balance after updating? Deleting and reinstalling the app will clear it right up. Your information and login stay safe — nothing's lost.
