Alberta is up 62% in 4 years with 81% in Calgary and 79% in Edmonton.

This works out to roughly $37 million in Calgary and $29 million in Edmonton.

RCMP finds nearly 50 idling vehicles with keys inside in Airdrie

Nearly 50 vehicles were left idling in Airdrie unattended with keys inside during Operation Cold Start, a province-wide campaign to prevent vehicle theft in winter.

Just in time for Halloween….Alberta officially has “ghost brokers”!!! 😡.

There are scammers posing as insurance brokers, usually auto insurance. They will issue forged pink cards and other documents.

Their target is often people unfamiliar with insurance, including people new to the area, and the vulnerable.

Also, don’t forget, if it’s too good to be true, it probably is!

Be vigilant and careful out there!
