This morning, the Bank of Canada cut its policy interest rate to 2.50%, down from 2.75% where it has been since March. 🎉

There is always a little confusion when this happens! 🤪
➡This drop brings the prime rate to 4.70% from 4.95%
➡NO- you will not be seeing interest rates as low as 2.5%
➡Only variable-rate mortgages and lines of credit will see a change in payments.
➡There will be NO change to fixed-rate mortgages.
