Thank you to everyone who supported our winter wear drive this year. Because of your generosity, we donated a significant amount of winter clothing to local shelters and food banks. We also distributed to common areas outdoors of Downtown Sarnia to allow easy accessibility.

We’re especially grateful to our local business partners, including Value Village and Belfor Sarnia, for their generous contributions and support.

Giving back to our community is something we truly value, and we’re thankful to be part of such a caring and engaged community. We look forward to doing it again next year—please consider saving your winter items to donate with us.

Hub International was proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada alongside DKI Windsor-Essex by contributing $2,500 to the Footsteps for Families 5K Walk/Run.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and fellow sponsors, the event raised over $20,000 to help keep families close to their hospitalized children. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this day a success!

On Thursday, July 10th, 150 guests gathered at Kingsville Golf and Country Club for the HUB 9’n Dine—a fun-filled afternoon of golf, food, and giving back. Attendees enjoyed 9 holes of golf, lunch sponsored by Paul Davis, premium policy punch courtesy of Hagelunie, and dinner sponsored by Kent & Essex Mutual Insurance. With the support of carrier and restoration partners, the event raised an incredible $26,000 for local charities.

Thanks to the incredible participation, support, and generosity throughout the holiday season, HUB Sarnia raised an impressive $3,010.10 for three local organizations. A big thank-you to Barry & Erika Hogan for their generous $500 donation.
Each organization received $1,150 and a small float to kick off 2025! HUB Sarnia's efforts not only supported the community but also fostered team spirit and strengthened HUB’s presence in Sarnia.

The HUB Sarnia office is thrilled to share the incredible success of their 2024 Annual Winter Wear Drive! Each November, staff, friends, family, and community members come together to use HUB as a drop-off point for warm clothing items. These donations are distributed in early December to the downtown area, where anyone in need can take what they require to stay warm during the winter.

This year, the drive resulted in over 400 items, including hats, mitts, scarves, and socks, being made available in downtown Sarnia. Additionally, more than 20 large bags of winter essentials were donated to local homeless shelters, ensuring that no one goes without warmth this holiday season. Great job Sarnia office!

The Windsor HUB team had a fantastic time participating in the Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 26! They embraced the Halloween spirit by decorating their truck and booth and handing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. With an incredible turnout, the team enjoyed being part of this festive community event. It was also wonderful to see the decorated vehicles on display and support LaSalle Sparky’s Toy Drive, collecting new, unwrapped toys to brighten the holiday season for families in need. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun!

Yesterday, three members of our HUB Gives Committee had the pleasure of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Windsor, where they baked delicious Halloween treats for families staying there while their children receive care at the hospital.

HUB Gives has proudly supported Ronald McDonald House Windsor since its opening, and we remain committed to volunteering our time and resources.

Looking ahead, we plan to host more baking sessions, and we’re excited to extend these opportunities to staff beyond the HUB Gives Committee. Keep an eye out for those chances to get involved next year!
