Job Title: Income Tax Office Assistant / Receptionist
Location: Oakbank, Mb
Job Type: 30 – 40 hours per week , potential for permanent position or hours
Schedule: Days, Evenings (Mon – Thurs) and Sat 10-3 as needed
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Income Tax Office Assistant/Receptionist. This temporary position requires availability during evenings and weekends to accommodate the increased demand for tax services until the end of May. This could become a permanent full time position for the right person.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage office inquiries
• Provide administrative support to tax professionals and other team members
• Assist with basic tax document organization and data entry
• Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred
• Familiarity with basic tax terminology and procedures is a plus (training will be provided)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: This is a part-time position requiring availability during the evenings (Monday to Friday) and weekends until the end of April. Flexibility during peak hours is crucial to meet the demands of tax season.
Compensation: We offer a competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience. Additionally, eligible employees may have the opportunity for performance-based bonuses.
