BoC’s economic outlook wasn’t the greatest to say the least…and the answer to housing affordability, ‘prices need to come down another 10-20% l, at least’, may not bode well for a lot of home owners.

This downturn in pricing is already hurting people in terms of selling and more appropriately, financing (or re-financing).

Times like this, having the knowledge becomes even more vital.

Very privileged to have taken part in a networking/federal update event, hosted by our very own Clarington Board of Trade; guest star, Bowmanville/North Oshawa, Federal MP, Jamil Jivani.

I have been listening very closely to what he has to say for some time now. This gives me a bit of hope, knowing that there is a voice of reason, a voice for Canada and Canadians and one who doesn’t mince words, tells us like it is and is working on actual solutions.

We covered everything from housing to US relations…and just the way he brought each topic down to the root cause, the steps required to even begin the conversations , shows that we do still have some of the best in parliament.

You’ve created passive income, but you are not taking advantage of it.

I think it really hits home as to why we as a country seem to be going backwards in so many areas socially, even while we throw billions of dollars at the problems.
We just never seem to go to the root cause…we simply use bandaids to make ourselves feel good that we are ‘doing something’.

(This is not a political piece in terms of right or left…this is piece on our systems and the continued failure of those systems)
