Envision Financial at Douglas Creating a better future through the student-led Douglas College and Envision Financial partnership:

We are striving to connect individuals to lend a helping hand. Envision Financials community outreach program has partnered with Douglas College to work with three nonprofit organizations. Douglas College marketing students work in teams to identify areas for improvement and create a strategic plan to aid these nonprofits with their marketing needs.

Meet the teams that have been working closely with First West Foundation, Canada scores Vancouver ,and Cowichan Valley Basket Society. With a few weeks of the semester remaining, teams are meeting and finalizing their client projects to ensure it meets the needs of the non-profit organizations we are working with.

Since inception, The Envision Financial - Douglas College Community Building Program has played a significant role in the marketing practicum program at Douglas College. Through various marketing initiatives, students at Douglas College have been assisting local non-profits and organizations in expanding their footprints while generating the awareness needed to bring attention to areas of opportunities within the community. Through our campaigns, we aim to share our experiences with the community in hopes of further developing our partnerships and gaining lasting results. One Marketing Practicum Team, working with Silver Threads Service for seniors society, had the unique opportunity to visit the Saanich and Victoria community centres on Vancouver Island.
The team was working on shooting a video to celebrate the organization's 65th anniversary. 

According to the group, it was a lifetime experience where they heard amazing stories and from the members, and appreciated the value of bringing older adults together for their community building.
