🏡 A little about me outside of mortgages…

I’m New Glasgow born and raised and have lived in the North End my whole life. I really enjoy being involved in my community and helping out where I can. Whether that’s volunteering with the North End Rec Center, at my kids’ school, or helping with different local events and activities.

I’m a big believer in supporting local too. I love seeing our local businesses and organizations do well and try to support them whenever I can. You can typically find me at the Farmer's Market as well each weekend! :)

I’ve also been working in finance and mortgages for a long time, and I really enjoy being able to do what I do right here in my own community. 🤝

I’ve recently helped quite a few clients switch their mortgages before their term was up — and yes, that meant paying a penalty.

Sounds like something you’d want to avoid, right? Not always.

In some situations, the overall numbers can still make sense. A mortgage review may uncover opportunities to improve monthly cash flow, restructure debt, access equity, or simply put you in a better financial position.

Does that mean everyone should pay a penalty and switch? Absolutely not. Sometimes staying exactly where you are is the best option.
