UPDATE: Joe has been joined by Nate Moffat of Stone Mills Fire. Together they will each climb 220 floors for the 110 floors (up and down) of the World Trade Centre.

Greater Napanee firefighter Joe Thompson will be climbing 343 stairs at 12 noon in support of the firefighters lost on September 11th, 2001.

To show our support, we will be collecting donations to presented on behalf of Greater Napanee FireFit to the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to honouring Canada’s fallen firefighters.

The Foundation honours all types of firefighters whether volunteer/part-time, paid/full time, industrial, military, urban, rural, wildland, airport, or marine.
