Mortgage maturity is an opportunity to look at what’s changed, what you need next, and whether your current mortgage still makes sense.

• Renew •
This may be a good option if you don’t want anything to change and you’re happy with the rates your lender has offered. Some lenders won’t always offer their best rate upfront at renewal time so make sure you check to see what other lenders are offering.

• Transfer •
This may be a good option if you want to change lenders for a better interest rate without accessing additional funds. Some lenders allow you to adjust other mortgage terms as well.

• Refinance •
this may be a good option if you want to access additional funds or consolidate debts, in addition to choosing a new rate and mortgage terms. It’s essentially a brand new mortgage!

Maybe staying with your current lender makes the most sense. Maybe there’s a better fit elsewhere. Or maybe your renewal is the perfect time to restructure your mortgage around what life looks like today.

You won’t know until we explore the options.
