Enjoying a delicious cappuccino at one of my favourite cafés before spending the morning attending a Land Acknowledgment Workshop. I host so many events throughout the year yet struggle with finding the ‘right’ and respectful way to put together a land acknowledgment as part of my introductions. As we head into the Thanksgiving weekend, I am grateful for workshops like this because WHEN WE KNOW BETTER, WE DO BETTER.
