Loan Officers… Be more like the Mortgage Rocket, Quickie Loans.
Seriously, there are some great things they do that LOs should do.
No, I’m not saying to charge crazy discount points, falsely pre-approve people, or wrongly deny people.
Doing that stuff is just crazy talk.
But there IS a reason the Rocket is America’s largest mortgage lender.
And it’s NOT because they’re the best lender out there.
It’s because they’re the best KNOWN lender out there and always offering something “valuable.”
Everywhere you go you hear & see Quickie Loans (yes I know that’s not their REAL name), and
They’re always offering some “value” like Rate Protection, Flex Mortgage Terms, Online Mortgage Experience or whatever other things we ALL can do but they do a BETTER job of making KNOWN.
Because they’re so-well KNOWN & offer “value,” buyers flock to do business with them even when they’re paying through the nose!
So here’s the thing… we can get irritated by it or rip a page from their playbook for ourselves to get Realtors to flock to work with us Loan Officers!
Let’s go with the latter option and rip a page from their playbook & have Realtors flocking to us.
And what’s that page?
Be KNOWN by being everywhere, all-the-time...while providing VALUE.
Can you imagine being the Loan Officer that is KNOWN by the Realtors in your market because you’re “everywhere, all-the-time” AND you provide REAL VALUE to their business?
Do you think that would help you get more meetings?
Do you think that would help you close more deals?
Of course it would because they can’t help but be interested in working with you! It’s human nature!
