Howick Mutual recently had the opportunity to visit two local businesses within our community.

Howick staff toured the Royal Homes facility and display homes, gaining insight into the homebuilding process and its connection to the insurance industry, while also learning more about a local employer creating opportunities in our area. The day wrapped up at another local business, the Maitland Links Golf Course, for some team-building opportunities.

A big thank you to both Royal Homes and Maitland Links for their hospitality and for helping make the day such a great experience!

With weather-related disasters becoming increasingly common in Ontario, it was a valuable experience to see how scientific research translates into real-world disaster prevention.
