A.P. Reid proudly recognizes all the amazing women in our business, and those leading our teams who inspire us each day. In celebration of International Women’s Day, today, March 8, we’d like to highlight our Founder, Aileen Reid (pictured with son, Jamie Reid and Outstanding Business Woman of the Year award, 2020).
Aileen opened the doors to A.P. Reid Insurance in 1980 and, throughout her career as an entrepreneur and CEO, was an extraordinary contributor to the community and to the insurance industry as well as a mentor to countless young women, and men, who looked up to her for guidance, example and inspiration. Today, Aileen remains active in the organization and is passionate about the continued growth of the company she established, while it joins Westland Insurance as the next step in its 40 year journey.
