Bank of Canada Increases Overnight Interest Rate by 0.25%. Given the various moving pieces its hard to gauge how this and next (if any) rate increase would immediately effect the housing prices.

Certainly a move towards long term 7 yr Fixed products is gonna be likely.

The Bank of Canada raised its benchmark interest rate to 0.5 per cent on Wednesday, a move that's expected to be the first of a series of small rate hikes this year in an attempt to tame inflation that has risen to its highest point in decades.
